If you own or manage a bookstore in California, we urge you to join CALIBA. The Alliance is a remarkable resource for connecting to and learning from other booksellers, publishers and authors, and for staying on top of the industry at large while maintaining a particular focus on aspects most crucial to independent bookselling throughout California.
Voting membership is open to any individual member of the independent retail bookselling community whose primary place of business is a storefront location in California – one vote per company.

You can choose to pay all or partial dues if you are in the position to and appreciate the work CALIBA provides. Any amount is appreciated. You can also support CALIBA by showing up at events - in person as well as virtual - joining a committee, opening our emails, signing up for eblasts, and participating in our Fall Catalog Marketing Campaign.
