Read-aloud permission information is also there, as well as videos of authors and illustrators talking about their books and demonstrating at-home activities, and details on authors available for virtual events. The page will be updated regularly with new resources.

Macmillan has posted their first-ever virtual event grids to Edelweiss, as well as an offer to share some digital marketing tips for successful virtual/live streaming events. Email Melissa.Campion@macmillan.com for more info or start requesting authors now - they're sharing requests with publicists daily, as they come in. Macmillan also shared an at home activity kit for Finding Kindness, and has more available on their website.
Simon & Schuster Children’s Publishing offers free curriculum guides, reading group guides, as well as kid-friendly activities to do at home. Visit their Read & Learn with Simon Kids website for links to those resources. Simon & Schuster has added buy buttons to all Simon & Schuster websites, and the company is encouraging its authors to add the Bookshop.org links to their own websites and social media posts.
Sourcebooks sent much cheer with the March edition of Book Tipsy (their newsletter with a little extra) by sharing free activities for kids at home and for those of legal (day) drinking age two drink recipes: Orange Dream Mimosa and Vodka Quarantini!

They have announced new measures to assist the independent stores that are operative at this time, including flexible terms, backend support, and direct-to-home delivery. To learn more, click here.
The University of Minnesota Press is offering the following terms to independent bookstore accounts from now through May 31st: +5% discount on all orders, free shipping on domestic orders of 15 or more units, and net 90-day payment period for any accounts that are currently on net 30. To qualify for these terms, please send all orders through your University of Minnesota sales representative (a list can be found here).

Effective June 1st, Workman’s “FLATN” promo code will run through the end of 2020 with an updated minimum of 10 units per order. This promo includes additional discount, free freight, and 120-day dating. This offer is available to independent retailers and multiple orders are allowed.
Workman is featuring a select number of authors across all imprints in their first-ever Virtual Event Grid. There is no due date for this grid; stores may submit their requests at their leisure and those requests will immediately be forwarded to the respective publicist.
In partnership with Abrams Books, Bloomsbury Publishing, Candlewick Press, Chronicle Books, Sourcebooks, and BINC, Workman will be participating in Indie Shindig: fourteen separate hour-long themed weekly events, occurring each Monday at 2 p.m. EST, from Monday, June 22, through Monday, September 28. The virtual event series will cover more than 200 titles across a range of genres and authors. Event themes include debuts, award winners, young adult fiction books, gift books, new and established series, genre blenders, and more.
