SUBMIT YOUR TITLES!

Please scour your list and send us your best from California authors and illustrators published from November 1, 2023, and October 31, 2024.

We are especially looking for titles for the following committees: Glenn Goldman (especially Design/Architecture titles), Martin Cruz Smith Award (Emerging Diverse Voices), Romance, Poetry and Young Adult.

Take advantage of the summer months to ensure that your submission has the best reading by our committees. The deadline for submissions is September 10, 2024.

As a small business, you can sometimes get caught into measuring your success by the minutiae of P&L reports and such. (Funny how these can both make you applaud yourself AND despair a bit more than warranted.) But for businesses like ours, where one tries to find some sort of balance (or at least a teeter-totter relationship) of commerce and culture, neither success nor failure can quite be boiled down to that...."
