  1. Do you have a timeframe for when you will be available with Shopify?

    • We are working on that integration, not a firm date yet though. If you want to email me I can add you to the list to notify when we get the connection up and running dave.lucey@abovethetreeline.com


  1. We do not have an ecommerce website, is the online storefront option a way for us to upgrade to an online storefront and let our managed wordpress go?

    • Yes!


  1. Is there an additional cost for using the online storefront option?

    • It’s an add on to Operate and it’s $24.50 a month, flat rate


  1. Are there any training tutorial videos available?

    • Yes we have tutorial videos on the site, and also Omnibus Academy, which is a self-paced training with videos/interactive components


  1. Is that feature something training is offered for?  the automatic upload to say Anthology?

    • The ordering process and that connection to Anthology wouldn’t change. If you want to take a look at what’s there for tutorials they are all there under the icon in the bottom left of the page https://omnibus.edelweiss.plus/


  1. Will small creators be able to add themselves like they can on Faire?

    • Anyone can ask to be on the platform, it’s not really self-service as we want to avoid the proliferation of AI generated materials that are infiltrating those marketplaces. We want to curate based on bookseller recommendations - you can suggest the vendors you use. But there’s no size limit or minimum size so long as they are able to support the orders!


  1. Can Assortment give you similar data for Spanish titles?

    • Not yet, but that’s a great suggestion!


  1. John mentioned marketing emails INSTEAD of mailchimp or constancontact, can it handle 14k email recipients?

    • Yes! And also allows you to create target audiences based on things like people that have purchased an author or genre from you, so you can focus your messaging to those most likely to open it!


  1. How is it being handled when cover art is changed but ISBN is not?


  1. Which other POS systems are able to integrate besides Square?

    • For our Analytics platform, we integrate with all of the major POS systems. For the Operate tier, it's just Square right now


  1. I currently have a website but haven't been able to successfully integrate a storefront. Would I need to ditch our current website to use the storefront or can I have links on both pages pointing between the two?

    • You can use Storefront as your entire website, but you don't have to. Many stores including mine have both their website and storefront.
