ABA RIGHT TO READ HANDBOOK COMES OUT SEPTEMBER 16TH

The ABA Right to Read Handbook: Fighting Book Bans and Why It Matters will be released September 16, just in time to have on your displays for Banned Books Week! It features an accessible history of book censorship, explainers on the current crisis, how-tos for organizing in your community, and interviews with activists, authors, booksellers, and parents. The 150-page, full-color handbook was written by ABA’s Philomena Polefrone, will retail at $18, and is available through the Ingram distribution network.

To help you decide if it’s right for your store, ABA is making digital ARCs available upon request. Additionally, IngramSpark and Booklove are doing a giveaway of 15 print copies of the handbook.
