POLITICAL ADVOCACY COMMITTEE
Continue the "Soft" Book Bans Conversation (Date TBD)
Let's join together to discuss ways to support or be more active with your local school board. We want to hear what you’ve been seeing in your community and talk it out.
Round Table: Tips & Tricks for Recognizing & Battling "Soft" Book Bans Session Recording
*Feedback and examples needed* for CALIBA Tool Kit for Booksellers: Politics and Bookselling (login required) - With the help of Bookshop Santa Cruz, your Political Advocacy Board has put together the bones of this peer-to-peer bookseller tool-kit. We would like YOUR HELP on fleshing it out. Please suggest additional examples and possible language in the google doc or email Hannah. Thank you in advance.
Tell us ways that you’re involved in political action (letter writing events, mutual aid, etc.) in your community. Share your events with Hannah or tag us (@caliba_20).
