Sponsorships include your logo on our website and all printed material, acknowledgment at the Fall Fest, one welcome bag insert, eblasts/banner promotions, and rep picks.

2025 GOLDEN POPPY AWARDS

The members of CALIBA present The Golden Poppy Book Awards to recognize the most distinguished books written by writers and artists who make California their home.

We are especially looking for titles in the following categories: 

  • Martin Cruz Smith Award: Emerging Diverse Voices
  • Octavia E. Butler Award: SFF/Horror
  • Poetry
  • Romance
  • Children's Nonfiction
  • Middle Grade
  • Young Adult

We suggest that publishers send review copies:

  • Winter/Spring/Summer titles by July 30th
  • Fall titles by September 15th
